ANALYTICS

Your front of house, as a data system.

Every menu view, every dish look, every payment, every tip. Per location, per waiter, per day. The data layer of the Bistro platform.

THE KIT

What you actually get to see.

Menu page views

Every QR scan and every menu page load is recorded with the table number when present. You see what the day looked like, not just what came in the till.

Dish-level engagement

Which dishes diners actually look at, per location, per day. Reorder your menu around real attention, not guesswork.

Payments and tips

Subtotal, tip, fee, net deposit, all linked to the table and the waiter on duty. Reconcile in minutes.

Per-waiter tip totals

Daily, weekly, monthly. Export anytime. Pay your team how you already pay them; we just track the truth.

Cross-location reporting

On Bistro Multi, compare locations side by side. Spot the location that's underperforming before payroll closes.

Time-of-day patterns

Group views and payments by hour. See whether your lunch rush is shrinking before your nightly cash count does.

FAQ

Common questions about Bistro analytics.

What does Bistro actually track?

Two main event streams. Menu engagement: page views (QR scans, direct links) and dish views (each time a diner opens or scrolls a dish). Money: every Payment row records subtotal, tip, application fee, currency, status, payment intent ID, and a link to the table and assigned waiter. Together they give you a full picture of how the floor performs.

Can I see analytics per location?

Yes. Every event is scoped to a business and, when applicable, a table. Bistro Multi adds a consolidated dashboard that aggregates and lets you compare locations against each other.

Is my data exportable?

Yes. You own your data. Payment exports come straight from Stripe (your Connect account). Menu metrics and tip totals are exportable from your Bistro dashboard.

Do you share my data?

No. Your operational data, your customers, your decisions. Bistro never sells data and never uses your individual restaurant data to train third-party models.
