PAY AT THE TABLE
Tableside payments without new hardware. Each table's QR opens a checkout, the tip is tracked against the assigned waiter, and Stripe sends the cash straight to your bank.
HOW IT WORKS
Open Settings to Payments, click Connect Stripe, complete the hosted onboarding. Stripe handles KYC and bank details for you.
Each day, open Assignments and pick who covers which table. Tips default to the assigned waiter at the moment of payment.
Diners scan the table QR, tap Pay at the table, enter the amount, pick a tip, and confirm. Receipt by email is optional.
The total lands in your Stripe account. The tip is logged against the assigned waiter in your dashboard.
THE KIT
Each table already has a QR. Diners scan, see their total, choose a tip, and pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay, or any card.
Diners pick 0%, 10%, 15%, 20%, or enter a custom tip. The tip is tracked against whoever is assigned to that table.
Every tip is recorded against the assigned waiter for that day. Pay them out however you normally do.
You onboard your own Stripe Express account once. Money lands in your bank. Bistro never holds funds.
Stripe transfers your sales directly. Bistro's per-transaction fee and Stripe's processing fee come out automatically.
No tablets, no terminals, no POS migration. Your existing tables and QR codes are all you need.
FAQ
Starter is 1% per transaction. Pro, Team, and Multi are 0.5% per transaction. This applies only to in-app payments at the table, on top of the standard Stripe processing fee (approximately 2.9% + $0.30 in the US).
Directly to your bank account through Stripe Connect. Bistro never holds your money. Stripe transfers the funds to you according to your payout schedule, with all fees deducted automatically.
Tips arrive in your Stripe account along with the rest of the payment. Bistro records each tip against the waiter who was assigned to that table at the time of payment. You can pay your waiters out however you normally do, cash, payroll, or transfer. Bistro does not split or transfer tips automatically.
The payment still goes through and is recorded against the table, with no waiter attribution for that tip. You can re-attribute manually in the dashboard if needed.
Yes. Diners just scan the QR and pay. No sign in, no app, no account required.
All plans include pay at the table. Starter is $9/month plus 1% per transaction. Pro is $29/month plus 0.5%. Team is $49/month plus 0.5%. Multi is $89/month plus 0.5%.
